Our Vision
We believe that the teachings of the Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad and his family are a source of guidance and success in both this worldly life and in the eternal life to come. We strive to create a community modeled on these life-giving teachings, one that is united by a commitment to righteousness, compassion towards all of God’s creation, and piety.
Our Mission
To serve, support, unite, and strengthen the Muslim community and the community at large in the Washington Metropolitan area by providing and/or facilitating relevant and effective knowledge learning (religious and other), social services, and improved communication and understanding based on the principles of the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his progeny; may the peace and blessings be upon them all.
